Farm Worker's Motor Vehicle Safety Project

To develop additional outreach materials for the Farm Worker Motor Vehicle safety Program recently launched by the Center for Agricultural Business at California State University, Fresno. Work will include expanding relationships with grower and farm worker organizations, analyzing vehicle crash data, and testing farm workers' knowledge of driving laws.

Evapo Transpiration (ET) Controller Performance in Tree Crops

ET Controllers designed for turf are not easily adapted to the more sophisticated scheduling demands of an agricultural tree crop using drip irrigation. This has led to the development of more complex controllers. This project will test an ET controller in two peach orchards by monitoring the soil moisture and total water applied.
